Techniques

For normal manicure, we do not buff or soak fingers in solution as it is not necessary. However, you may request for it to be done!

For gel manicure, we do buff the surface of the nails to allow better adhesion of the gel polish. pH bond is also used and is mandatory to allow proper application of gel polish. But don't worry! We rub on a scented nourishing oil to rejuvenate your nails after the manicure is done!

All manicures are done without cutting or pushing back the cuticles as we believe that strong nails are more important than pretty nails. Pushing back of cuticles will weaken the attachment of your nail to your finger and may hurt and get irritated if harmful chemicals drips onto your nails. Customers may choose to request for pushing back of cuticles, however it is strongly not recommended. Lacquerfied takes no responsibilities for any injuries caused due to the weakening of nails after cuticles are pushed.
